Non Absorbable Polypropylene Sutures
SURLON is a non-absorbable mono-filament suture made from polyamide 6.0 or 6.6, available in blue and black. It offers minimal tissue reaction, excellent knot security, smooth tissue passage, and permanent support, ideal for general, plastic, and ophthalmic surgeries.

Absorption
Non absorbable, gradually encapsulated by connective tissue.
The thread mass diminishes, approximately 10% a year by rupture of chemical links (hydrolytic action).
