Absorbable Polyglycolic Acid Sutures

SURCRYL Rapid is a beige, braided multi-filament suture made of fast-absorbing polyglycolic acid, coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. It offers high tensile strength, excellent handling, and knot security, ideal for short-term soft tissue support in plastic, obstetric, and pediatric surgeries.

Contradictions

Due to rapid loss of tensile strength, this suture should not be used where extended approximation of tissue under stress is required or where wound support beyond 7 days is required.
